Enjoying life while living a healthy lifestyle.

6 months ago I wouldn’t have been caught dead posting something like this. I would have been too afraid of what clients thought of me. “What kind of a trainer drinks margaritas?”.

If I wanted to eat something that wasn’t nutritious or deemed healthy, I would always order out and make my husband go in and get it so I wouldn’t be caught eating something like that or drinking.

This sounds crazy to me now because how am I supposed to teach my clients how to live a healthy and happy life, if I don’t show you all of it!?

You should never have to give up your favorite not so nutritious foods and drinks to reach your healthy goals. That’s just no way to live and it’s possible to do both.

I like to use the 80/20 rule. 80% of the time you eat and drink “healthy” and 20% of the time you enjoy life and eat and drink “unhealthy”. Because if you are restricting yourself, most likely you will spiral out of control with binge eating and end up right back where you started or worse. You need to learn to limit and not restrict in order to get to a healthy lifestyle.

Because restriction is no way to live. I also don’t know a single person that eats nutritious foods 100% of the time. Even body building competitors binge after restricting for so long. It’s just not sustainable and I’m here to help teach you how to live a healthy life while enjoying your life.
