Fat Loss Hack

What if I told you that fat loss is not the same as weight loss. Fat loss is the burning of excess fat and is not the same as the number dropping on the scale. It could be, but not always.

You see, you could be burning fat and gaining muscle which could potentially not change the number on the scale at all or maybe it makes it go up. THIS IS NOT A BAD THING. Don’t freak out if this happens.

I also want you to know that weight fluctuation is normal and if the scale is triggering for you, hide that bish.

When you are in a fat loss stage, and the scale doesn’t move or your weight goes up, you could be building muscle. This is a good thing. This is called body recomposition. When you are building muscle, you are likely doing resistance training exercises which put your body in a calorie burning state for up to 72 hours after the workout session.

So if you’ve ever heard the famous fitness myth “you can’t burn fat and build muscle at the same time”, DUN DUN DUN….you can.

So if you are in the business of burning some extra fat, I’d highly look into weightlifting. I offer a 1:1 coaching package and would be thrilled if you wanted to apply. Click the link below.
